Casing Elevator / Spiders Specifications

QD（BJ） and SE(VARCO) pneumatic casing elevator/spider is applicable for casing of 60~340mm（23/8~133/8 in). It features labor saving, safety and pneumatic operation, and it is a kind of ideal tool for casing operation. It is designed and manufactured according to API Spec 8A “Specification for Drilling and Production Hoisting Equipment”.

VARCO Hinged Casing Spiders

The Hinged Casing Spider has a capacity of 200 or 500 Tons,Without insert bowls,will handle 185/8 and 20 inch casing.Insert bowls are available,and alone or in combination,can handle 23/8-85/8,95/8-103/4,113/4-133/8,16 inch diameter casing.

BAASH ROSS CASING SPIDER

The Bass-Ross 200 ton hinged casing spider will fit most casing handling operations. It can be placed on the rotary table, mounted on a platform which replaces the rotary table, or supported by cribbing, depending upon the auxiliary equipments and procedure to be followed. Spider Bushing for handling casing 9″OD and larger are equipped with a spherical diameter tapered bore. All spiders bushing to handle 8 5/8″ OD casing and smaller have a tapered bore dimensionally the same as the API Standard rotary master Bushing and will accommodate any standard rotary slip.

The tapper of casing spider, UC-3 casing slip and insert bowl is 3 inch/ ft for size above 8 5 /8″, 4inch/ ft for size below 8 5/8″(include 8 5/8″).

MASTER BUSHING

These series of master bushing are suitable for API standard rotary slips, drill collar slips, casing slips, insert bowls and roller bushings, with two structures: solid body and split body. Two drive types are available: pin driven and square driven. It is designed and manufactured according to API Spec 7K “Specification for Drilling Equipment”.

CASING BUSHING

Casing bushing is combined by bushing body and insert bowls. It is suitable for handling casing less than 30 in. There are two types: solid and split. CU and CUL are solid bushing, and CB is split bushing.

API BOWLS

BOTH API spider and API split master bushing have the same inner diameter with of 4”/ft on the diameter tapper. The spider body is made of high quality ally steel and heat-treated especially. The spiders are not so heavy and easy to operate. They are designed and manufactured according to API SPEC 7K standard for drilling and well servicing equipment.

ROLLER KELLY BUSHING

Roller kelly bushing is a necessary tool for drilling. It is to drive kelly spinner by matching with master bushing. Through rotating of four rollers, the friction between rollers and kelly pipe is reduced and service life is extended. For different sizes of kelly pipe and hexagonal pipe only need to change corresponding rollers. To connect with rotary table, there are two transmission styles (square and pin). The product is designed and manufactured according to API Spec 7K “Specification for Drill Equipment”.
